When it comes to raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Virginia, we are limited only by our imaginations. We work with individuals, businesses, schools and community groups throughout Virginia to bring incredible ideas to life and raise critical funds.  Fundraising is essential to what we do and with your help one day we hope to raise enough money to grant the wishes of every eligible child in Virginia. Every wish we grant is funded by private contributions, and fundraising is a critical aspect of how we grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  If you’d like to donate time or become involved in our fundraising efforts, please contact us. Kids For Wish Kids®

Kids For Wish Kids® is a fundraising program for children who want to help the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. As individuals, groups, schools, individual classrooms, community groups the creativity and flexibility of this program is as flexible as a child’s imagination- and that is exactly what we ask Kids For Wish Kids® programs to use-

Wishmakers On Campus®

Here is your chance to get your university, college or higher education campus involved while having tons of fun by helping to make dreams come true for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. As a Wishmaker®s on Campus volunteer, you can partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Virginia chapter and coordinate a fundraiser for your club, group, fraternity or sorority-INVOLVE YOUR ENTIRE CAMPUS- to help sponsor wishes for wish kids in your local community.

Wishmakers At Work®

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Virginia runs a work place program that benefits everyone: employee, employer, company and Make-A-Wish Foundation®. We have a variety of ways to become involved through company volunteering, matching payroll deductions, fundraising and more. Both your company and your employees will reap the benefits of our Wishmakers at Work® program.

Many of the Make-A-Wish Fopundation® of Greater Virginia’s fundraising events are organized by outside parties to benefit the chapter. Event sponsors vary from individuals, companies and corporations, kids groups, community groups and just about anyone who has a great idea for a fundraiser. Some of the unique and special community events that have been organized include golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, car shows, softball tournaments, bowling tournaments and silent auctions.
